ELIZABETH RAWSON

Dr. Elizabeth Rawson was born in Las Vegas and then moved around the country with her military (Air Force) family. She received her Bachelor in Arts in Biology from Dartmouth College in 1996 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts Veterinary School in 2002. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Animal Medical Center in New York, NY in 2003 and a specialty surgical internship at Veterinary Specialists of South Florida in Cooper City in 2004. This was followed by a small animal surgical residency at the University of Illinois completed in 2007. She has been board certified in small animal surgery since 2008 and has been practicing surgery in South Florida ever since. She excels at orthopedic, soft tissue, and oncologic surgeries, and is certified in canine rehabilitation therapy.
